Disclaimer
How to read what is on this website — especially in the days after a storm.
Effective date: August 16, 2026 · Version: 1.0
Most people find us on a bad week. A storm has come through, there is water where there should not be, and half a dozen companies have already knocked. This website exists to give you straight information before you sign anything — with anyone. That is also why it is careful about what it does not claim.
The short version
General information only
Nothing here is legal, engineering, insurance, financial, or public-adjusting advice about your roof, your policy, or your claim.
No relationship until it is written
Reading this site, using a tool, or sending a message does not make us your contractor. A signed agreement does.
Your paperwork wins
If this website and your signed proposal, scope, or warranty ever disagree, the signed document is the one that counts.
After a storm: what we can and cannot tell you
Storm damage is the reason most of this site exists, so it deserves the plainest language on the page.
We are not a public insurance adjuster
Storm Bolt Roofing, LLC is a roofing contractor. We do not represent you to your carrier, and we do not file, negotiate, adjust, or settle claims. What we do is inspect the roof, document what we find, and give you a contractor’s estimate you are free to hand to your carrier — or to anyone else.
We cannot promise a claim outcome
Coverage decisions belong to your insurer and your policy. Nobody who inspects your roof — including us — can promise that a claim will be approved, that a particular amount will be paid, or that an estimate will be accepted as written.
Your deductible is yours
We do not pay, rebate, absorb, or discount it. Texas Insurance Code §707.057 prohibits that, and any contractor offering to make your deductible disappear is telling you something about how they do business.
An inspection is a snapshot
It records what was visible and reachable that day. Damage beneath shingles, inside decking, or behind flashing may not be visible without removal, and a roof that is sound this month can be damaged by the next storm. An inspection does not predict how long a roof will last.
Estimates, calculators and measurements
Ranges on this site — including the quick estimate and any pricing guide — are illustrations, not quotes. They are built from typical Houston-area assumptions and cannot see your pitch, your layers, your decking, or your access. Aerial and satellite measurement reports come from third-party providers and are accurate enough to plan from, but field verification governs the final material order. A binding price exists only in a written agreement signed by you and Storm Bolt Roofing, LLC.
Photographs, galleries and reviews
Project photos show work we have completed. Materials, colors, and site conditions differ from home to home, and a shingle on a screen is not a shingle in your hand. Reviews describe individual experiences; they are not a forecast of your cost, your schedule, or your claim.
Materials and manufacturer warranties
Product information, colors, and wind or impact ratings come from the manufacturers and belong to them. Manufacturer warranties are issued by the manufacturer on the manufacturer’s terms and can depend on correct installation, ventilation, and registration. Our workmanship warranty is a separate document and is provided in writing with your project agreement.
Financing
Where financing is offered, it is provided by an independent third-party lending partner — not by Storm Bolt Roofing, LLC. Approval, rates, terms, and funding are the lender’s decisions. Any monthly figure shown here is an illustration based on assumptions you choose, not an offer of credit or a promise of approval.
Links to other websites
We link to manufacturers, review platforms, and other outside sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or handling of your information. Once you leave this site, their terms and privacy policies apply.
Emergencies
This website is not an emergency service. Never use a web form to report one. If anyone is in danger, or there is structural collapse, exposed wiring, or fire, call 911. For an active leak or fresh storm damage, call us at 832-860-0262. Please stay off a damaged roof — wet decking and hidden soft spots are how people get badly hurt.
Availability and accuracy
We keep this site as accurate as we can, but we cannot promise it is always current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Pricing, product availability, service areas, and program details change. If a detail matters to your decision, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.
Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Storm Bolt Roofing, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on general information published here. Nothing in this disclaimer limits a right that cannot be limited under Texas or federal law, and nothing here reduces what we commit to in a signed agreement with you.
