Is a budget shingle a false economy?
It can be, if the money saved gets spent twice. Where it isn't: a rental, a house you're selling, or a roof where the budget is genuinely fixed. What we won't do is cut the underlayment, flashing, or ventilation to hit a number — that's where cheap roofs actually fail.
How does Heritage compare to Timberline HDZ?
Both are architectural shingles and both will do the job. Timberline is heavier, has a broader color range, and is easier to match years later. Heritage costs less. We'll quote both.
Do you install TAMKO metal shingles?
Yes, MetalWorks. It is a different product and a different price bracket from asphalt — worth a conversation if metal is what you actually want.
